I see beautiful lights everywhere.
As numerous as the stars in the open night sky
I see beautiful lights everywhere.
Burning in numerous colors as if they were draped around a Christmas tree
Reds, greens, yellows, & blues
I see beautiful lights everywhere.
Dancing in their hue
Pulsating with heat that defines their tune
I’ve seen a dying light.
Flickering like a lone ember
Starved by the vacuum of isolation
Or
Doused by rivers of misunderstanding
I’ve seen a dying light.
Focus on fuel for it’s flame
Neglecting the glow of others
I’ve seen a dead light resurrected.
Only to ignite smoldered flames around it
I see beautiful lights everywhere.
Some that may burn so brightly they eclipse the rest
And others which may be dim and cold from a hardened heart
I see beautiful lights everywhere.
FOR HE IS THE LIGHT!
